Medianet is changing media distribution and management with its Video News Release (VNR) capabilities. All you have to do is send your VNR on Beta SP (4:3 or 16:9 format) tape to us, and we'll convert it into a media-friendly format. Your digitalised video clips will then be uploaded onto the Medianet for Journalists (MNJ) website, giving the media fast, easy and exclusive access to your broadcast-ready video release.The technology used converts your video into insertions of 3 seconds to a minute in length, creating a storyboard of clips for news professionals to preview, select, download and insert into their newscasts or programs. And with 24/7 support for clients and users, real-time uploads and downloads are always possible.
Your VNR will be posted on the media exclusive Medianet for Journalists website, and, as with all Medianet services, you can be sure that your release will be delivered in its original, unedited form. The VNR will be hosted on the Medianet for Journalist site for 3 months, allowing it to be accessed and downloaded by journalists during this period.
The price of the VNR service includes the creation, loading and hosting of your video news release on the Medianet for Journalist website. In addition to this, an email alert including a link to your VNR will be sent to relevant television stations, producers, program directors and other relevant and/or specified recipients.
